This CD is an expression of my Awakening to myself and to my Duty. The inspirations in the making of this CD came, primarily, from my acute awareness of my African ancestry, and our Historical process;
It is a tribute to the dignity of our survival, and it's a memorial to the millions of martyrs who perished during four hundred years of African chattel slavery.
But most of all, this CD is a celebration of the beauty and exuberance of the Caribbean spirit, the magnificence of the Universe and the possibilities and potential of humanity.
